To setup authentication on an iPhone:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- From the list, tap on your mail account.
- Under Outgoing Server Settings, tap on SMTP.
- Tap on the Server name.
- Tap on Authentication.
- Tap on Password.
You'll need to enter your email address and mailbox password as well.
