Adding a “Follow Me” button
- In your Sitebuilder, drag and drop the HTML Code Widget (located in Widgets > Popular) onto your page.
- Write or paste your code (use right-click > paste or Ctrl-V to paste) into the HTML Editor.
- When you are done, click "Save".
Here's how to add your Pinterest follow button to your site using the Text Widget:
- Click on the "HTML" button on the Text Editing Toolbar.
- Write or paste your code (use right-click > paste or Ctrl-V to paste) into the HTML Editor.
- When you are finished, click "OK" to return to editing text.
Adding a “Pin It” button
- Go to this page and set up your embed code: http://pinterest.com/about/goodies.
- Copy the code provided.
- Drag and drop the HTML Code Widget onto your page.
- Paste the code into the HTML Editor.
- Click "Save"
Your "Pin It" button will be displayed on your site.
Verify your domain
- Log in to your Pinterest account.
- Change the URL to your account name e.g., http://www.pinterest.com/visual (replace "visual" with your login name).
- Click on the pen icon in the bottom-right corner of the banner (located at the top of the page).
- The "Edit Profile" screen will open up.
- Enter your Linksky Visual site's URL next to "Website" as: http://www.yourdomain.com (replace "yourdomain" with your domain name").
- Click on "Verify Website".
- Click on the "Verify with a meta tag" link. This will display a meta tag which will look something like this: <meta name="p:domain_verify" content="9eb763b8a48d92e1e0386b355c220efc" />
- Copy the meta tag.
- Back on your Linksky Visual site, click on Site > Tracking > Site Tracking Code.
- Paste the code into the "Header Code" pane on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Republish your Linksky Visual site.
- In your Pinterest account, you will see a checkmark next to your Linksky Visual site's URL to indicate that it is a verified website.
